What we do.

Most of our work is keeping systems running and changing what’s already there — not replacing everything older than five years.

01

Door access control

Readers, keypads, controllers, door hardware and the software behind them. We install and support RBH and CDVI systems, and we service what’s already on your doors where we can get proper administrative access to it.

What the work involves
  • New systems on new or existing doors — readers, controllers, power supplies and battery backup
  • Expanding a system you already have: more doors, more credentials, new access levels
  • Taking over systems another installer left behind, where administrative access can be recovered
  • Door hardware — strikes, maglocks, request-to-exit and door position switches
  • Fail-safe and fail-secure configurations that still meet egress requirements
  • Cable pathways, conduit and network drops for IP controllers

For offices · warehouses · food processing · healthcare · multi-building campuses

02

Parking access & revenue control

Entry and exit lanes, gates, pay stations and the reporting behind them. As an authorized Amano McGann dealer we carry genuine parts and direct manufacturer support — which matters most on the day a lane is down and a part has to come from somewhere.

What the work involves
  • Entry and exit lane terminals, ticket dispensers and credential readers
  • Barrier gates — arms, motors, loop detection and safety devices
  • Pay stations, change machines and payment integration
  • Licence plate recognition
  • Rate configuration and revenue reporting
  • Staged cutovers so lanes stay open while equipment is replaced

For parkades · healthcare campuses · property owners and operators

03

Service, maintenance & emergency response

A gate stuck down is revenue walking out of the exit. A reader stuck locked is staff standing in a car park. Neither waits well, so we answer the phone and we turn up.

What the work involves
  • Scheduled preventive maintenance, documented — a detailed written record of what was checked and what was found, every visit
  • Printer, reader and optics cleaning; gate arm and motor service
  • Loop and detector testing
  • Battery replacement and firmware currency
  • Emergency response when a lane or a door fails
  • Parts held or sourced through manufacturer channels

Same-day response · after-hours and weekend support · 24/7 under agreement

Upgrades, modifications & assessment

Most of what we do isn’t ripping systems out. It’s changing what’s already there — adding to it, reconfiguring it, and replacing the parts that have actually failed.

What the work involves
  • Adding doors or lanes to what’s already installed
  • Reconfiguring access levels after a tenancy or staffing change
  • Bringing separately installed systems onto one platform
  • Recovering administrative access to a system you own
  • Replacing failed components without replacing the whole system
  • A written assessment of what you have and what it needs

05

Work that doesn’t fit a category

Clients bring us the thing nobody else wants to scope — usually because we’re already on site, and because it needs power, a mount and a connection, which is the same problem as everything else we do.

What the work involves
  • Change machines
  • Solar-powered crosswalk beacons, with further installations under way
  • Intercoms and entry communication
  • Equipment that needs power, a mount and a network drop, where the scope doesn’t sit cleanly with any one trade

If it’s on your site and nobody will own it, ask

What a site assessment gets you

  • An inventory of what is actually installed, by make and model — often the first time anyone has written it down
  • A condition read: what is already failing, what is near end of life, and what has years left in it
  • Costs to put it right, separated into now, soon and later, so you can budget rather than react
